Shehr Yar: Shehr Yar was one of four Canadians arrested last year after three foreign nationals crossed the border near Pigeon River, south of Thunder Bay in May, 2012, according to CBC. Yar pleaded guilty to obstructing an officer in the performance of his duties and A man charged with aiding the illegal smuggling of people over the Pigeon River border will spend time in jail on weekends. The foreign nationals then went to a resident's home to call for a ride. The Canada Border Services Agency said the resident felt something was not right with the situation, and contacted police.
