Schizophrenia Society Dept: The Kids Help Phone and the Schizophrenia Society of Nova Scotia are just two of more than 20 community organizations to receive new provinicial mental health grants, it was announced Thursday, according to The Chronicle Herald. The grants this year total nearly $1 million and The grants, which include $100,000 for the Bedford-based Kids Help Phone and $60,000 for the Schizophrenia Society in Halifax Regional Municipality are part of Together We Can, the province mental health and addictions strategy.
