Muhammad Naqash Dept: Last June, 27-year-old Muhammad Naqash drowned at the Harry Bailey Aquatic Centre during a public swim. Friends said he was under water for several minutes before he was rescued, according to CTV. Naqash was an immigrant from Pakistan and had only been in the country for a few months. The report highlighted the fact that the province's immigrant population is growing. In light of this, the report recommended the city enhance they're safety and swimming programs abailable to students new to the country and A drowning that occurred last summer has officially been ruled an accident.
