Rona Ambrose Dept: The 24-month project aims to bring social agencies and the business community together to pave the way to employment, according to Calgary Herald. Minister of Public Works and Government Services and Minister for the Status of Women Rona Ambrose made the announcement in Calgary on Monday and The Calgary Immigrant Women Association is getting a $160,000 boost from the federal government to carry out a program designed to help low-literacy immigrant women in Calgary find jobs.
