Angelo Persichilli: Citizenship Judge

Prime Minister Stephen Harper Dept: Immigration Minister Jason Kenney announced Friday that Angelo Persichilli, who served less than 12 months as Harper director of communications, will become a citizenship judge for the Greater Toronto Area, according to The Star. No one could have been more surprised by the news than Persichilli himself. When contacted by the Toronto Star at his Mississauga home, he had not yet been informed of the appointment. He asked to read the news release to him and oTTAWA A former top aide to Prime Minister Stephen Harper has landed a new gig as a citizenship judge.
