Federal Government: Guest Speaker

Federal Government Dept: Great project, but to characterize the event as featuring the premier and mayor, completely bypassing the first guest speaker, Immigration Minister Jason Kenney, who had a $25-million contribution from the federal government - which was equal to that of the province and city - needs to be rectified, according to Calgary Herald. Please correct the record and also let the public know what their federal government is doing for Calgary and re: "National music centre starts out on right note," Feb. 23, and "West LRT line opens Monday," Dec. 8. I noticed your coverage of the opening of the west LRT also omitted the MP's presence announcing Ottawa's $79.8 million contribution - 43.5 per cent of the project - in favour of your mentions of provincial and local officials.
