Waluyo Raharjo: Huge Waves

Central Java Dept: Waluyo Raharjo from Central Java's Search and Rescue Agency said Tuesday the ship was hit by huge waves and stranded near Nusakambangan prison island on Monday, according to Winnipeg Free Press. Indonesia has more than 18,000 islands and vast unpatrolled coastline. It is a key transit point for migrants fleeing poor and conflict-ridden countries who are seeking asylum in Australia.
