Melonie Biddersingh Dept: Det.-Sgt. Steve Ryan, who heads the cold case section of Toronto s homicide unit, confirmed Tuesday that Dwayne Biddersingh s body will be exhumed at the end of the month, according to The Star. In 1992, Biddersingh reportedly fell 22 storeys to his death from the family s Parkdale apartment on Close Ave., which he shared with his father, stepmother and five other children including his sister Melonie Biddersingh and in a gruesome case that began nearly two decades ago, Toronto Police will now exhume the body of a 15-year-old boy after his father and stepmother were charged in the suitcase murder of his older sister. We just want to make sure nothing was missed, that there s no evidence to suggest that there was foul play, Ryan said.
