De Geer Dept: Born and raised in Sunderland, north of Whitby, De Geer married Kermit Darrell Wallace, an American, in Virginia in April 2011. The family lives in a small hamlet southwest of Charleston with her in-laws as neighbours, according to The Star. A frustrated De Geer has tried and failed twice to cross the border to reunite with her husband, despite countless calls to U.S. immigration services, a U.S. senator s intervention and a visit to the U.S. embassy in Ottawa and kimberly Alberta De Geer and her two children have been surfing from couch to couch in the Toronto area, barred from entering the United States to rejoin their husband and dad. In August, while still waiting for her U.S. immigration visa, De Geer left for Canada with her children to attend her father s funeral.
