Immigrant Youth Gang Crime Project Dept: Public Safety Minister Vic Toews made the announcement Thursday morning at the Centre for Newcomers in northeast Calgary, according to CTV. The funding initiative is part of a national program aimed at preventing crime by targeting youth in gangs or youth at risk of joining criminal gangs and the federal government will be extending funding for anti-gang initiatives.
