Community Breakfast

Mulgrave Park Dept: For the first time in eight years, Breakfast on the Go was not operating at the Mulgrave Park Caring and Learning Centre when school started in September, according to CBC. The program serves breakfast and a snack for 60 to 80 children in the area daily. The community is made up of many single parent and immigrant families who live on limited incomes and a community breakfast program for children in Halifax's Mulgrave Park will resume next week after being shut down because of lack of funding, but its future still depends on public donations.
