Eastern Health Dept: ST. JOHN S, N.L. CP Newfoundland and Labrador s largest health board says one of its patients was killed Monday while being transported between hospitals, according to The Chronicle Herald. The health board says the patient left the vehicle after it pulled over and ran into a wooded area and patient killed while being taken to hospital Eastern Health said the incident occurred when the ambulance had to stop along the Trans Canada Highway in St. John s because of the person s condition.
