Undergraduate Degree Dept: Students are taking on more debt, with the average price tag of a four-year undergraduate degree away from home ringing in at $84,000, said TD Economics , according to The Chronicle Herald. Now a troubling new report from the Atlantic Provinces Economic Council released Wednesday suggests that paying back that debt poses an enormous challenge for Atlantic graduates due to a sluggish labour market for young people and as herds of post-secondary students pack up and make the annual pilgrimage back to campus, students are saddled with more than boxes and textbooks.
