Dara Parker

Whistler Dept: She was 18 years old and on a gap year between high school and university. She taught snowboarding for a season at Whistler before heading back to Toronto. But she always knew she d find her way back here, according to Vancouver Sun. After Whistler, she went to Queen s University in Kingston, Ont. to study politics and drama. During one summer, she worked as an au pair in Paris. After graduation, Parker was so keen to return to Europe as a tour guide that she paid her own way to London for the interview and like so many Vancouverites, Dara Parker came west attracted by geography and the weather.
