Summer School: Immigrant Students

Mike Leslie Dept: They're seeing more students with traditionally high marks going to summer school to get credits they didn't realize were needed to get into specific university programs, according to CBC. "Been a significant increase in the last three years through our immigrant programs here on Prince Edward Island," said Mike Leslie, co-ordinator of the secondary programs with the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development and more students are registering for summer school on P.E.I., according to education officials.
