Kendall Schmidt Dept: One of the accused, who courted media attention and had belonged to the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council, was locked up in the Winnipeg Remand Centre Tuesday, according to Winnipeg Free Press. His co-accused, 39-year-old Kendall Schmidt, was granted bail earlier and two Winnipeg men have been charged with immigration fraud after fake companies were set up and jobs offered to foreigners eager to find work in Canada. Bradley Jacobson was sent back to the lockup after his bail hearing was put over to Thursday.
