Standing Committee On Citizenship Dept: These days, she teaches part-time, she researches and writes about human rights issues, and she is also the volunteer director of the Roma Community Centre, according to The Star. Gina went to Ottawa recently and appeared before the Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration. She was there to speak about the proposed amendments to the Immigration Act, and to tell the committee how those amendments affect the Roma refugees from Hungary and gina Csanyi-Robah liked going to school as a kid. Her family didn t quite understand; for the Roma, survival comes first, and making a living often precludes the classroom. But Gina went on to university and got her degree. And, yes, that is what happens to the children and the grandchildren of refugees they grow up, they go to school, they get jobs, they become leaders.
