Gina went to Ottawa recently and appeared before the Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration. She was there to speak about the proposed amendments to the Immigration Act, and to tell the committee how those amendments affect the Roma refugees from Hungary and gina Csanyi-Robah liked going to school as a kid. Her family didn t quite understand; for the Roma, survival comes first, and making a living often precludes the classroom. But Gina went on to university and got her degree.
