Dalhousie University Dept: The award, honouring the best public policy book by a Canadian, was presented Tuesday night by Allan Gotlieb, chairman of the Donner Canadian Foundation, according to Winnipeg Free Press. Aucoin, a professor emeritus of political science and public administration at Dalhousie University, died last July. Jarvis is a doctoral candidate at the University of Victoria, while Turnbull is an associate professor in Dalhousie's political science department and tORONTO - "Democratizing the Constitution: Reforming Responsible Government" has won the $50,000 Donner Prize. The winning book was written by Peter Aucoin, Mark D. Jarvis and Lori Turnbull, and was published by Emond Montgomery Publications.
