Francois Meerholz Dept: Francois Meerholz is one of four men accused of kidnapping another man earlier this week in Prince George , according to CBC. The Canada Border Services Agency has said that criminal matters take precedence over immigration matters and Meerholz will remain in B.C. until the charges he is facing are resolved in court and a man who stands accused in a kidnapping this week was ordered deported from Canada three and a half years ago but is still in B.C. because he's facing several criminal charges. He was scheduled to be deported to South Africa last year, following an order issued in 2008, but the deportation was delayed due to scheduled court appearances unrelated to the recent alleged kidnapping that have yet to take place.
