Regina's Chamber Of Commerce Dept: In the annual State of the Chamber address Wednesday, John Hopkins said attracting and retaining workers is a critical issue for the local business community, according to CTV. "On the one hand, our economy is growing very well and shows little signs of letting up, which creates the need for thousands of employees. On the other hand, Saskatchewan's existing workforce is aging." The CEO of Regina's Chamber of Commerce says there are signs that a labour shortage is hampering the city's economic growth. "We believe the current situation is akin to a perfect storm," Hopkins said.
