Canadian History Dept: That s according to a survey commissioned by the Montreal-based Association for Canadian Studies, which found immigrants believe they have a stronger grasp on the country's history than those born in Canada, according to CBC. About 27 per cent of people born outside the country said their knowledge is very strong and the longer you've been in the country, the less confident you may be about your knowledge of Canada's past.
