But this recent study by Nathalie Auger, published in the Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health , finds for the first time that the inequality in the distribution of income within a city or region in Canada also affects health and mortality and a study by a Quebec researcher has found contrary to what was previously believed income inequality does in fact have an association with mortality in Canada.
