Visa System Dept: Interim auditor general John Wiersema says the border watchdogs need to do a better job of managing risks, according to Winnipeg Free Press. The latest review found the criteria visa officers use to sift out high-risk applicants have not been reviewed in years and oTTAWA - The auditor general says the visa system needs to be tightened with better health and security screening for people who want to come to Canada either as visitors or permanent residents.
