Illicit Sexual Activity: Sexual Predators

Immigration Enforcement Dept: David Gellad is accused of travelling to Pennsylvania from Montreal on two occasions this year to engage in sexual activity with a 14-yearold girl. The 43-year-old man is charged with enticement of a minor and two counts of travel with intent to engage in illicit sexual activity, according to Montreal Gazette. Gellad's arrest was part of Operation Predator, a U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement project that aims "to protect children from sexual predators, including those who travel overseas for sex with minors." A Rosem re, Que., man faces three charges linked to sexual encounters with a U.S. teen after being indicted in a Delaware court here this week. In one case, Gellad is said to have flown to Philadelphia, then driven to meet the girl - with whom he had an online relationship since October - before driving to a hotel in Newark, Del., where he is accused of having sexual contact with her.
