District Court Judge: New Immigration

Immigration Reform Dept: While immigration reform remains a major challenge in the U.S., the federal government must ultimately resolve it, according to Globe and Mail. U.S. District Court Judge Sharon Lovelace Blackburn, who has suspended enforcement of the law until she rules on three lawsuits against it, should strike down the bill, in whole or in part and alabama s new immigration enforcement law aims to turn undocumented workers into non-persons. It violates their civil rights, and it criminalizes any small act of kindness toward them, including an offer of shelter, a ride to school or a meal in a church basement.
