Immigration And Refugee Protection Act Dept: Josef Kanka, 56, is accused of violating the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act due to convictions of possession of stolen property, attempted extortion, robbery, and causing bodily harm with intent. He also has several firearm convictions, according to Edmonton Journal. Kanka's name and picture were released Thursday as part of the government's newly expanded "Wanted by the CBSA" list, which was created July 21 and featured 30 individuals wanted for war crimes or crimes against humanity and a Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a 56-year-old Edmonton man wanted by the Canadian Border Services Agency. Kanka, also known as Joe Plachy and Miroslav Plachy, was born in the Czech Republic and was last known to live in Edmonton. He has scars on the right side of his head and left forearm.
