Saint John Dept: The New Brunswick city's Jewish community had been on the verge of fading away as people moved to bigger cities such as Toronto, but newcomers from Israel are reversing that trend, according to CBC. The couple say they no longer felt safe in Jerusalem and so moved to Canada with their 14-year-old daughter Dana in pursuit of a better life and a wave of immigrants is bolstering Saint John's dwindling Jewish community.
