Serving as a Republican supervisor for Riverside County, Stone s quest for a new state is grounded in his disenchantment with the California's financial crisis, which he blames on 20 years of ruling by anti-business Liberals in the state's northern capital Sacramento and the notion of Canada as America s 51st state could be coming to an end if a politician for Riverside County, California, gets his way.
