Aspiring Musicians: Immigration Canada

Youtube Dept: On Thursday, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Calgary cut the ribbon on a newly renovated recording studio in their Beltline Youth Centre facility, which will be used to encourage kids to explore their budding musical sides in a professional setting, according to Calgary Herald. For Stacee Amos, program coordinator for the Beltline Youth Centre 221 12th Ave. S.W. , the need for the studio was a nobrainer considering many of the kids were already dabbling in music on YouTube or in even more amateur settings. And making it one of the many programs that the location offers -all of which are free to kids and young adults from all parts of the city -is something that has been proven beneficial not just artistically, but on a life level and calgary's young, aspiring musicians just got a better playground to play in. The studio, which was renovated with the help of Citizen Immigration Canada and Devon Canada, features quality computer and recording equipment as well as a vocal booth. It will be made available to any youth between the ages of 12-24 wanting to use the facility and learn from knowledgeable staff and volunteers. As reported in the news.
