Superstition: Country Of Origin

Hospice Dept: I thought that in this 21st century we were well on the way to shedding superstition, according to Vancouver Sun. It is ironic that this is happening at the University of British Columbia, on which land both the hospice as well as the residences of the protesters are located. UBC is an institution of learning, whose mandate it is, among others, to replace with knowledge absurd beliefs and superstition and i am quite disturbed about the protests relating to UBC wanting to open a hospice. I am an immigrant. I keep and honour some of the traditions of my country of origin, but I would never dream of pushing them on others, as the protesters are trying to do here.
