Keith Clinton: Second Degree Murder

Red Deer Dept: Keith Clinton Sandmaier, 33, has been charged with second-degree murder and is scheduled to make his first appearance in Red Deer provincial court today, according to Calgary Herald. Louie, 38, had gang connections, however investigators have not said whether those affiliations were a motive for the killing and authorities have charged an inmate with murder in connection with the killing of another convict at a federal prison in central Alberta. The charge stems from an attack last Sunday on David Tung Louie, who was stabbed during an altercation in an outdoor common area at Bowden Institution, a mediumsecurity prison, 40 kilometres south of Red Deer.
