Once inside the officers discovered the 38-year-old woman, who had been living illegally in the country since 2008 on an expired visitor visa and working in what police called "domestic servitude." A Vancouver couple is facing human smuggling charges for allegedly bringing a Filipino servant from Hong Kong to Canada illegally and forcing her to work in domestic servitude for several years, say police.
