Montreal Gazette Dept: In preparation for my interview last Thursday, I posted a message on Twitter and Facebook, at montrealgazette.com, and on the print edition's Opinion page. I asked readers to help me prepare for my interview by submitting their own suggested questions. I received 12 replies, and I incorporated questions from three readers into my own interview, according to Montreal Gazette. It's a low-resolution photo, as you can see above. You cannot identify the black man who was intercepted for questioning, nor any of the four police officers who had gathered around the man and following the release May 11 of a Quebec Human Rights Commission report on racial profiling, which came with 93 recommendations for police, social workers and school officials, I had the opportunity to sit down and interview Inspector Fady Dagher, director of community relations for the Montreal police force. One of those readers was Stephanie Keating, 43, a Toronto native now living in Montreal's Plateau Mont Royal district. She didn't just send me a question; she sent me an email, attached with which was a photo taken by cellphone showing a police intervention last Wednesday at 2: 45 p.m. at the corner of St. Urbain St. and Mont Royal Ave. As
reported in the news.
