The job allowed him to send home $1,200 a month more than half his modest paycheque and aTHABASCA, ALTA. As he drove away from the burning town, Harry Laraya had more on his mind than where he d go or the things he left behind. His gravest concerns were a continent away. The 28-year-old, who came to Slave Lake as a temporary foreign worker a year and a half ago, is the sole breadwinner for his struggling family. And now he is jobless. As reported in the news.
