Immigration Authorities: Calgary Police

Gang Ties Dept: Luis Alberto Martinez was removed from Canada under escort Tuesday, the Canada Border Services Agency confirmed, according to Calgary Herald. Immigration authorities caught up to him last January after Calgary police arrested him for drunkenness and a Guatemalan national with gang ties living illegally in Calgary has been deported. Martinez had been living in Canada using a fraudulent Mexican identity since coming from the United States in August 2008. After his visiting status expired a year later, Martinez lived underground.
