Job Prospects Dept: The statistics are daunting. Nationally, the unemployment rate currently sits at 7.6 per cent. But for recent immigrants, it's almost double 14.5 per cent, according to CBC. Professionally trained economists and teachers are resorting to entry-level jobs outside their sector, and often have problems finding even those jobs.
