Job Opportunities Dept: Police said the bogus business was run from August 2009 to September 2010 and targeted people hoping to bring over friends and family from the Philippines, according to The Star. Clients faced months-long delays and were given numerous excuses explaining why the agency could not get the proper immigration documents, said police and a 46-year-old man is facing charges for allegedly running a fraudulent business that targeted prospective immigrants searching for employment and citizenship in Canada.
