Immigration Department: Appeal Decision

Moncton Dept: Robyn Kumar, 45, married Sanjett Kumar, 34, in September 2007 after the couple met online, but an immigration officer who interviewed her husband decided the marriage was a sham, according to CBC. But immigration then appealed that decision to a federal court. Once again, the couple were successful and the court upheld the appeal decision in October 2010 and a Moncton, N.B., woman says she's upset that the federal Immigration Department hasn't allowed a man she married in Pakistan to immigrate to Canada. Robyn Kumar went through the department's appeal process and successfully had the decision overturned in June 2010. As reported in the news.
