Matt Eisenbrandt of the Canadian Centre for International Justice says Canada should choose the extradition request from Spain as it involves more serious charges and jorge Vinicio Orantes Sosa, who holds both Canadian and American citizenship, has been in custody in Calgary since January and already faces extradition back to the United States on immigration charges. And now Judge Santiago Pedraz at the Spanish National Court has issued an arrest warrant and an extradition request for Sosa for crimes against humanity.
