Staffer Dept: Back in the House of Commons for the first time since accusations ricocheted last week over the use of his letterhead, Kenney apologized, saying he was "sorry for the error.", according to Montreal Gazette. The government has said already the staffer was following orders from Kenney but made a mistake in not doing the work independently of the office and citizenship and Immigration Minister Jason Kenney staunchly defended himself Monday for the actions of an aide who lost his job last week after using Kenney's office letterhead to do campaign fundraising targeted at ethnic groups. "My political aide offered his resignation, which I accepted," he told the House in French. "It is entirely inappropriate to use government resources to raise funds for a political party."
