Provincial Budget: Employment Numbers

Social Services Dept: Money for other social services remained steady with no new increases, according to Calgary Herald. "But they have obviously not taken to heart some of the smaller programs that some of the more vulnerable people depend on." The new provincial budget contains a cut to welfare funding spurred in part by an end to federal programs and a return to better provincial employment numbers.
