New Cars Dept: Sales of new cars and trucks were up across Canada last year. Canadians bought 1.6 million new cars and trucks in 2010. Nationwide, that was a 6.6 per cent increase over 2009, according to CBC. Nova Scotia was the only Atlantic province that saw a decrease in sales of 1.1 per cent and prince Edward Island led the country in the growth of car sales in 2010. Sales in P.E.I. saw a 16 per cent increase, followed by Newfoundland where sales were up 10.7 per cent. Sales were up 10 per cent in New Brunswick. As
