Mob Boss: Crown Prosecutor

Montreal Gazette Dept: "Montreal is taken with an epidemic of arson fires in which the guilty have yet to be arrested," Crown prosecutor Veronique Beauchamp told Judge Gabriel Lassonde yesterday in reference to a series of fires that have plagued northeastern Montreal, according to Montreal Gazette. The 27-year-old was one of three men arrested after a fire was set inside the Loreto funeral home, owned by the wife and sister of reputed Mob boss Vito Rizzuto and a Quebec Court judge will decide tomorrow whether one of three men arrested last week in connection with an arson fire at a St. Leonard funeral home will be released on bail. She argued that denying bail to someone like Julien Bourassa-Richer might deter others. As reported in the news.
