Immigration Charges: Orantes

Guatemalan Dept: Jorge Orantes Sosa is accused of helping massacre men, women and children in his native Guatemala nearly 30 years ago, according to CTV. Guatemalan officials say Sosa commanded a special forces unit in 1982 and allegedly ordered men under his command to attack a village and massacre more than 250 people and an accused mass murderer faced a judge in a Calgary courtroom Thursday. Sosa is facing extradition to the US, after facing immigration charges in Canada. As reported in the news.
