Needy Families Dept: Sun Youth director Sid Stevens says 2010 was one of the worst he's seen in 57 years in terms of donations coming in, and the effects are being felt now to the point where the food bank is rationing some of its stock, according to CTV. Sun Youth, Stevens says, is handing out food to about 2,500 families per month, up about 500 from a year ago and more and more Montrealers are turning to the emergency food bank services at Sun Youth, except the food stocks are reaching alarmingly low levels.
