Financial markets operated normally and n ew York dug out of its sixth-biggest snowstorm on record and stranded travellers hoped to board long-delayed flights Tuesday as thousands of homes in Atlantic Canada remained without power. Winter storm warnings remained in effect for coastal Labrador, with 30 to 40 centimetres of snow expected by Wednesday evening.
