Immigration And Refugee Protection Act Dept: The migrant who arrived in B.C. in August and can t be named under a publication ban appeared at a detention review in a Vancouver-area jail this morning, according to The Star. The officer referred to two sections of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act that would make the man ineligible, one of which says a foreign national is inadmissible if they violated the War Crimes Act and mAPLE RIDGE, B.C. One of the 492 Tamil migrants who entered Canada onboard the MV Sun Sea will remain in custody after a government representative alleged the man may have committed war crimes. An officer for the Canada Border Services Agency said the man was deemed inadmissible to this country. As reported in the news.
