Two And A Half Years: Substantial Investment

Spokane Washington Dept: I had already quit my job and made arrangements to move home when we met. He had completed his first year of his undergraduate studies, and knew that he had at least two more years to go. A family member is backing his education with a substantial investment of finances, which would surely be cut off should he decide to complete his studies in Canada, according to The Star. I am fully prepared to sponsor him, however, financially I could probably only support him for so long before we would need a second income! I know he will be looking for work as soon as legally possible and q My partner and I have been in a long-distance relationship for more than two years, since I moved home to Ontario in 2008. We met just weeks before I moved back, and I'm not sure either one of us expected with 100 per cent certainty that the relationship would last long-term. However, here we are almost two-and-a-half years later still flying back and forth from Toronto to Spokane, Washington, to see each other a few times a year. The relationship has grown stronger with each passing visit, and we both feel we were meant for each other. He has about a year-and-a-half of school left in Washington State, after which we have plans for him to move to Ontario permanently. We aren't sure of the best path to take in order for him to become a permanent resident of Canada, and maybe even a citizen. We know we need to start building a case to prove that we've been in a long-term relationship, and I've had him added to my bank accounts for well over a year now. His name appears on the statements that come to my home in Cambridge. As reported in the news.
