Jeffry: Cupcakes

Campana Dept: Lawyer Jeffry House says the fate of his client Carla Campana rests with Immigration Minister Jason Kenney, who has to decide whether she's a danger to Canada, according to CBC. The 24-year-old landed immigrant, who had been in Canada since she was a baby, was deported in September even though she was never criminally charged and the Federal Court has refused to hear the appeal of a Toronto woman deported to Chile over gang links she says consisted of baking cupcakes and giving a baby a teddy bear. Contacted in Chile on Friday, Campana said that she's surprised the court isn't going to give her a chance but she still has faith because she's not a criminal. As reported in the news.
