Chinese Associations Dept: Earlier this year, the opposition Progressive Conservatives put motions forward to have 11 different people appear before the committee to answer questions about the P.N.P, according to CBC. Committee chair Jim Bagnall, a Conservative MLA, voted in favour of having the committee question people, including the premier's chief of staff, as well as presidents of the Korean and Chinese associations of P.E.I and the P.E.I. Liberals have again used their majority on the public accounts committee to stymie any discussion about the controversial Provincial Nominee Program. The Liberal-dominated committee voted down each of those motions Tuesday. Conservative MLA Jim Bagnall, the public accounts committee chair, said the vote by the Liberal-dominated committee's vote to quash discussion about the Public Nominations Program is unacceptable. As
